Join the Coffee Co-op, we order coffee every month from a new specialty coffee roaster, and you can learn about coffee with each new roaster.
How does it work? It's simple - about once a month we'll feature a new coffee from an Australian speciality coffee roaster - you can join the order and then meetup to get your beans at a local cafe on the pickup date.
From Cabrito Coffee Roasters | Micro-roaster, Sydney
Meaning little goat or kid in Spanish, Cabrito takes a playful and accessible approach to coffee. Steering away from the darker characteristics of Italian roasts, the Cabrito Milkman blend is a smooth, easy-drinking blend with rich chocolate and caramel influences.

The coffee experienceCabrito Coffee Roasters is all about serving a unique, unpretentious, experience to Sydney coffee enthusiasts.
Cabrito Coffee Traders opened its doors in January 2012, serving a unique, unpretentious, experience to Sydney coffee enthusiasts. Situated in the burgeoning hospitality precinct of Bulletin Place (Circular Quay), the boutique espresso bar focuses on the artisanal value of simple, great tasting coffee served in a relaxed environment.
‘We’re all about making someone feel comfortable and enjoy their experience from the service to the taste of the coffee and the environment, with no part outweighing the other.’
The 30 capacity-venue pays homage to its historical homage with much of the interior having been stripped back to original finishings. The exposed brick and reclaimed wood give Cabrito a gritty, industrial edge, while the seating which spills out onto the pedestrian-only walkway brings a welcoming, locals vibe.
All of the coffee for both cafes is roasted on a refurbished 1956 Probat 15kg roaster.
Cabrito Coffee was originally roasted onsite on a 5kg IMF roaster, until 12 months ago, where roasting was moved to our second site, Welcome Dose Specialty Coffee. Welcome Dose is both a roastery and cafe, located in the heart of Rosebery, 15 minutes from Sydney CBD.
Hi, my name is Tim Jensen and I'm the guy behind the Coffee Co-op. I am a passionate coffee lover - I've worked as a barista all over the Sunshine Coast and have had the idea for a 'learn about coffee' community ticking around for a while.
The coffee co-op is the place for coffee drinkers to grow in their knowledge and love for coffee.
Project Espresso Maroochydore is the home of the first Coffee Co-op community - we'll be starting a few more around the Sunshine Coast in the next few months - if you're a community-minded cafe and would like to host a co-op in your local community, get in touch.
I run Studio Voyager, and we're passionate about helping businesses effectively communicate who they are.
